Every Chance

Drawing with glazes, working into a porcelain surface is an intimate process,  as much about drawing out as drawing in, it provides a way of staying in touch with the lost subject. The piece started complete, but became an isolated fragment, a torn page of porcelain from a bigger narrative. Yet in this one piece I have distilled the essence of a significant person as I remember him.
